Badai Pasti Berlalu — The Storm Will Surely Pass — is the most celebrated Indonesian album of all time. Originally the soundtrack to a 1977 film, it blended progressive rock, jazz harmonics, lush strings, and vocal performances into something that felt both distinctly Indonesian and utterly sophisticated. Rolling Stone Indonesia named it the greatest Indonesian album ever made. The 2024 reissue on green and black vinyl was the first proper international pressing.
