D'Influence were London's most complete soul act of the nineties — vocalist Sarah Ann Webb, guitarist Steve Marston, keyboardist Kwame Kwaten, and drummer Ed baden-Powell, playing their own instruments and producing their own records at a time when that was almost unheard of in UK R&B. 'Hypnotize' arrived in 1997 on their second album 'London', and the Masters At Work remix turned it into a floor piece that DJs still pull out.
