Dengue Fever are a Los Angeles band led by Cambodian-American vocalist Chhom Nimol, whose music fuses 1960s Cambodian rock with surf guitar, Afro-groove, and psychedelia. Sleepwalking Through the Mekong is their most atmospheric record — a document of their journey to Cambodia, where Nimol performed with her family for the first time in decades. Sni Bong (Tiger Phone Card) became its signature track.
