First Choice were the Philadelphia trio fronted by Rochelle Fleming, and Delusions, their 1977 album for Salsoul's Gold Mind, is a Baker-Harris-Young disco landmark. 'Doctor Love' is its enduring classic — so demanding to mix that Tom Moulton said he had a mild heart attack while editing it. The album also carries 'Let No Man Put Asunder,' later remixed by Shep Pettibone into one of the most influential records in house music.
