Grant Green spent the late sixties out of fashion and short on money. He came back funkier than ever. Recorded at the Lighthouse club in Hermosa Beach in 1972, this live double set catches him stretching out on long, hypnotic grooves with Houston Person and an in-the-pocket band. It is the sound of a jazz guitarist deciding the dancefloor was where he belonged.
