Con Todo El Mundo — ‘with all the world’ — is Khruangbin’s second album, recorded in their barn in rural Texas. Where their debut mined 1960s Thai cassette funk, this record travels west: Persian pop, Mediterranean soul, and Gulf funk heard on long drives through the Texas countryside. The lead single María También pays tribute to Iranian women before the 1979 revolution. The result is a record that crosses continents without ever leaving that barn.
