Souldigs is a curated music discovery platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data — if you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials via Netlify Identity.
- Wantlist data — records you save and any price alert thresholds you set are stored in our database, linked to your account.
- Analytics — with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use Souldigs (pages visited, session duration, approximate location by country). No personally identifiable information is passed to Google Analytics.
- Email alerts — if you enable price alerts, we send emails from alert@souldigs.club using Resend. Your email is used only to send these alerts.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not run ads or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
We use a single first-party consent cookie (sd_consent) to remember your analytics preference. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure usage. You can decline analytics and the site works fully without it. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time to reset your preference.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@souldigs.club. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies: Netlify (hosting, authentication, database storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), Google Analytics (usage analytics, consent-gated), Discogs API (vinyl pricing data), YouTube and Spotify (embedded audio/video players).
